Our restaurant's design organizes the historical structure of Dom Książki and allows it to resonate in a new way. Natural materials like stone and wood, combined with steel, create a backdrop that doesn't distract from what's most important – the table, the food, and the conversations taking place around it.
Distinctive lighting and a conscious approach to its color temperature ensure that the space transforms throughout the day – from bright and open in the morning to more intimate in the evening. We wanted to create a space for every time of day, and we succeeded.
The Bookowski bookstore operates within the space of Strona. Its presence is an integral part of experiencing the place, of which books and readers are an inseparable element.
This bookstore serves as a bond between Dom Książki – a space for culture – and Strona, which is its gastronomic continuation.
The project was created in cooperation with the Poznań-based Studio OYKA.
